Hazardous Waste Disposal
Do not pour oil or pesticides into the ditch or wash paint brushes at the end of your driveway. Where do these pollutants end up? In our groundwater, lakes and streams. Gasoline, oil, solvents, old paints, thinners, fertilizers, pesticides, cleaners and many other products need to be disposed of properly.
Dispose of your household hazardous waste during this year’s Clean Sweep (May through October) at the Waupaca County Processing & Transfer Facility in Manawa. By appointment only, call 715-258-6249.
Yard Waste Disposal
The Town of Neshkoro has a yard waste landfill located down the gravel road off of County Road N, across from Kemp’s Storage. Only pine needles, leaves, and grass are accepted.
There is an annual fee per resident of $30 to obtain a permit to use the yard. Permits can be obtained on site.
The yard is open on select Saturdays. For 2020, the yard is open every-other Saturday beginning April 18th thru November 14th, from 9am to 1pm. When the gate is open, so is the ‘dump’.
